AGAIN !!!!! Sixty Million Naira Budgeted For Grass Cutting in Boko Haram Ravaged Areas
Members of the House of Reps expressed shock, on Tuesday, that the Presidential Committee on North-East Initiative budgeted N60m to cut grasses this year in communities ravaged by the Boko Haram insurgents.
This is coming when controversies surrounding a similar contract worth over N200m, awarded by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has yet to be settled.

SOUTH AFRICANS BEGIN XENOPHOBIC ATTACT AGAINST NIGERIANS AGAIN.
Ikechukwu Anyene, president, Nigeria Union, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on telephone from Pretoria, South Africa, that the attacks began at 4.00 a.m. He said the union had reported the incident to the Nigerian mission and South African police.
“As we speak, five buildings with Nigerian businesses, including a church have been looted and burned by South Africans. One of the buildings is a mechanic garage with 28 cars under repairs, with other vital documents, were burned during the attack.
Also, the pastor of the church was wounded and is in the hospital receiving treatment,” he said. Mr. Anyene said the union had informed Nigerians in South Africa to be vigilant in the face of renewed xenophobic attacks.

SO SAD !!!! Two Corpers Die In Accident On Taraba-Benue Road
The corp members who were part of the 2016 Batch B Stream 2 of the NYSC scheme lost their lives while returning home from the 21 days orientation camp in Taraba State. The unfortunate incident also saw other passengers of the vehicle sustain injuries. The bus was conveying mostly youth corps members from Taraba to Benue state before it crashed.
A source who spoke exclusively with kikiotolu revealed that one of the victims name is Becky and was a member of the number 9 Platoon of the 2016 Batch B Stream 2 Taraba state. She was returning back home just like every other youth corps member but met her end on the road.
