Ogun Labour Leaders address workers from bush for fear of thugs

The battle of wits between labour and government of Ogun State during the ongoing indefinite strike action continues, with each side throwing subs and saying they are the ones with the best interests of the people at heart.

The labour leaders continue to point to various areas and times the government of the day have reneged on its agreements with workers while the government points fingers at the labour leaders, accusing them of playing partisan politics, without calling labour to the negotiation table.

Given this antagonistic attitude of the government, it's no surprise (and somewhat comical really) that labour has alleged that its leaders have been targeted and attacked by thugs reportedly working for some people affiliated with the government of Ibikunle Amosun. Labour leaders have literally fled to the bush and have taken to addressing workers from inside forest using their phones because of fear for their lives.

Are we back in the Abacha years? Yorùbá, ronú oooo
