DSS planning to detain, prosecute Bishop Oyedepo, Apostle Suleman – Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has alleged that Department of State Services (DSS) has perfected plans to detain and prosecute Apostle Johnson Suleiman of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide and the General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide International (Winners’ Chapel International), Bishop David Oyedepo.
Fayose, who is the chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, warned that the alleged plan could throw the country into an unprecedented religious crisis.

NIGERIAN MAN WHO MARRIED 86 WIVES DIED AT 93.

Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Masaba, the controversial Islamic preacher and super polygamist, who married 86 wives, is dead. He was aged 93.

His Personal Assistant, Alhaji Mutairu Salawudeen Bello, who confirmed Masaba’s death, said that the preacher died in his residence in Bida, Niger State, on Saturday, after a brief illness.

According to reports, the fiery Man of God has already put together a team of 30 top legal luminaries who will go to the Abuja office of the DSS with him.

Suleman was invited by the DSS to appear at their Abuja office on Monday, January 30, 2017, by 10 am.
The pastor has been in the books of the DSS, following a comment which he made during one of his sermons, where he allegedly told his members to kill Fulani herdsmen.

An alleged new photos of President Muhammadu Buhari in London have emerged.

In the photo, Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state is seen to have visited him with other delegates.

Recall that speculations had emerged claiming the President was critically ill while the most unpopular ones insinuated that President Buhari may have even died of the illness. However, the Presidency refuted the rumours saying it was false. The presidency had equally told Nigerians that President Buhari is hale and hearty.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the woman also prayed the court to dissolve her 20-year- old marriage.

Son of a carpenter, Olawale Ashimi, popularly called, Brymo, has revealed he is going straight to hell after death.

According to ”Ara nbe” crooner, good people go to hell after their death. He took to Twitter on January 23, 2017, saying, “When I die I am going straight to hell, its where all the good people go.”
Meanwhile, the son of the carpenter says he wants albums to stop selling for N150. He also revealed that his current album ”Klitoris” is doing pretty well.

15 Feared Dead In Farmers and Herdsmen Clash In Benue State

About 15 persons were feared killed in an outbreak of fighting between herdsmen and farmers at Ipiga village in Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State.
Information gathered from a source made available to VANGUARD reporter, the crisis erupted Sunday afternoon, when some armed herdsmen stormed neigbouring Ajegbe village, where they grazed their cattle and destroyed farmlands.

The source said: “From there they moved into Ipiga village yesterday morning, shooting sporadically, though they met a stiff resistance from the locals. “A bloody fight erupted; two of the herdsmen were reportedly killed, while about 13 of the villagers were also killed. However, many are still missing and unaccounted for.”

Nigerians Be Warned... avoid Libya; death penalty awaits

The question is, will people listen?

Nigerian government has advised migrants to avoid Libya where penalty for illegal migration attracts the death penalty. The office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora made the appeal on Sunday.

Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the SSA to the President, is appalled that in spite of the mistreatment and killings of blacks, Nigerian migrants still go to or through Libya.

“I hereby appeal again to Nigerian migrants to avoid Libya as penalty for illegal migration to Libya, when caught, is usually a death sentence.’’

She referred to a trending video, which though had not been authenticated, showing pictures purported killing of black immigrants in Libya.

"While the authenticity of the pictures and tapes in question cannot be verified, it is a known fact that Libya has been executing alleged black illegal immigrants for years.

“As the Chairman Committee on Diaspora in the House of Reps in the Seventh Assembly, we intervened in the case of 24 Nigerians about to be killed in Libya.

“The Committee, in collaboration with SERAP, an NGO, petitioned the UN, AU, ECOWAS, and Ghadaffi yielded to pressure and released them.’’

Two months ago, she said the NEMA in collaboration with the Nigerian Embassy in Libya, evacuated over 2000 Nigerians from Libya.

Nigerians, she warned, should avoid Libya.

Bala Chinda Sentenced To Prison For Murder

The son of a Nigerian government official was yesterday jailed for life after raping and murdering a £1,800-a-night high-class escort. Bala Chinda killed Jessica McGraa, also a Nigerian, only a few weeks after he arrived in Scotland to study at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.

The 37-year-old £200-an-hour sex worker’s partially clothed body was found the following day in the bedroom of a flat she had rented in the city’s Union Terrace. Extensive police investigations carefully pieced together the call girl’s last movements following the grim discovery on February 12, 2016.

CCTV footage showed she had travelled to Chinda’s student accommodation in the city’s King Street with him in a taxi before they returned to her apartment a short time later, where she was found dead the following day.

Kanye West : A Course To Be Studied In The University

Kanye West may have foretold the future when he sang, “They got the Drop Out keepin’ kids in the school,” because one university is taking an in-depth look on how the rapper has affected society.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Wednesday that 75 Washington University students in St. Louis are registered for “Politics of Kanye West: Black Genius and Sonic Aesthetics.” The class began last week and there is a long line of students waiting for others to drop the class.

Dr. Jeff McCune is the professor of the class. He told the newspaper that the course will focus on the rapper, producer and fashion designer and sees the class as a way for students to connect issues of politics, race, gender, sexuality and culture.

Yahya Jammeh of The Gambia Has Finally Agreed To Step Down

Yahya Jammeh has agreed to step down as president of The Gambia, according to reports.

Nicholas Germain, a France 24 journalist, quoted sources as saying Jammeh is currently writing a statement where he accepts to cede power.

In a last-minute effort to convince him to cede power, Presidents of Liberia and Guinea went to Banjul on Friday.

Military forces from Senegal had earlier crossed into Gambia in an attempt to oust Jammeh.

Barrow was sworn into office in the Gambian high commission in Dakar, Senegal, on Thursday. He fled to Dakar on Saturday for security reasons.
