It was during one of my holidays,so i came to spend it with my family in abuja . on one of the sundays , popsy decided i join him to his new found church ( woow) i was surprised , because popsy was not really a church person, as he thought some pastors are out there to decieve the ordinary members. i was happy for him so i got ready and left .

The church is located at Nyanya (i dont know if there are still in the same venue) was almost filled up that morning, but we were able to secure a space towards the alter, so we could have a better view. i was really not interested in all the praises that was rendered to the pastor as he mounted the alter , all i wanted was to hear the sermon . but it was more of a miracle service , all the same i enjoyed it.

At the Africa International Film Festival which recently ended in Lagos, the actress and mother of four shares the opinion that sharing faith with one's significant other and being disciplined are both key to making any celeb's marriage work.

She says "If you’re a Christian and you marry someone who is not born again then you are on your own.
"Your partner needs to be stronger than you. They are the ones getting the aftermath of your own action.

"Choose a partner who understands entertainment. Don’t choose your fan. Personally, I don’t believe in love at first sight.

"Pick someone who sees your heart, your soul, someone who sees the real you and not afraid to tell you about your flaws.

"Discipline is key. Everyone wants freedom but too much freedom is bad. Be disciplined. It’s better to be an enemy to a work partner than to your family. Learn to say No!

"We are like nurses and doctors in the industry because we can be called upon at anytime”.

She also advised against giving in to advances to get movie roles. “Sometimes you will get a role for giving yourself out but you won’t be able to retain it.

A man who usually disguises as a female sex worker was arrested by police in Uganda after several men claimed that he took money from them under false pretenses.
He was described by most of the men as a beautiful woman who wore a wig, short skirt and make up.

The man, identified as Ivan Bebeto, who calls himself Queen, has been operating through East and Central Africa including Nairobi (Kenya), Kampala (Uganda), Bujumbura (Burundi) and (Tanzania).

Rivers State Governor , Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that the state government will in the coming weeks release the audio -visual footages of the Rivers State Police Commissioner plotting with politicians on the methods to be adopted for the planned rigging of the December 10 rerun elections .

Flagging off the rehabilitation of the General Hospital, Abonnema in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area on Monday , Governor Wike noted that the audio-visual footages will be made public through different media platforms to expose the extreme rigging desires of the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) with the backing of the police and other security agencies .

5 Feared Dead As two Cult Group clashes in Auchi Poly .......

No fewer than five persons have been reportedly killed, following a renewed cult war between rival groups around Auchi Polytechnic, in Etsako-West area of Edo State.

It was learnt that the victims were killed in different locations during a violent clash between the so called Aiye and Viking confraternity.

It was gathered that the incident occurred shortly after the completion of examinations for the 2016 session in the institution last Thursday.

One of the victims was said to have been killed close to a construction company on the Benin-Auchi-Okene expressway.

Two others were reportedly shot dead behind the School of Engineering of the polytechnic and around Sabo area, respectively.

It was gathered that a disagreement had ensued last Friday between the two groups at the graduation party of an unnamed student.

The Commissioner of Police, Haliru Gwandu, confirmed the death of two persons during the clashes between the rival cult groups.

CP Gwandu, however, disclosed that kingpins from the groups had been arrested and were assisting the police with useful information in their investigation.

'Justice Abang after me because I called for his sack,' Gov Fayose alleges

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has said Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court Abuja moved against him for asking the National Judicial Council to sack him.

Fayose alleged that the judge granted an interlocutory order against him in a matter pending before another judge because he called for his sack.

The Governor had called for Justice Abang's sack following his ruling of October 14, which conferred recognition on Jimoh Ibrahim as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded Ondo governorship election.

Apprentice absconds with employer's children day after resumption (photo)

An apprentice, identified only as Grace, has allegedly absconded with the two children of her employer, Mrs. Suliyat Azeez, in the Okokomaiko area of Lagos State.

Incident happened on Friday, less than 24 hours after Grace resumed apprenticeship at Suliyat’s workshop on Ora Street, PPL bus stop, Okokomaiko. The children she kidnapped have been as Farouk, 4; and six-year-old Kafayat.

PUNCH Metro reports that Grace fled with the children after they returned from school that fateful Friday and went to their mother’s shop.

A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, identified as Abimbola Awogbade has reportedly died.

Reports gathered that the 23-year-old, who studied Accounting at Tai Solarin University of Education, recently posted to Katsina a few days ago met her untimely death in an accident.

According to her friend who shared the unexpected exit of the NYSC member, Abimbola died on the spot after the accident.

May her soul rest in perfect peace.

These churches want to make payment of tithe so effortless that you don't even need to attend service to pay your tithe. Does this mean that tithe is more important than service? Can't they wait till Sunday to collect tithe? How come no Catholic Church, no Jehovah's Witness, Anglican Church or Mosque is there? The State Highway Patrol says troopers found 71 pounds of marijuana and other drugs wrapped as Christmas gifts in a vehicle that was stopped for a driving violation in northwest Ohio.

A resident of Ndemili in Ndokwa West area of Delta State, Festus Nwaomucha, has narrated how a kidnapping gang, which included a 70-year-old woman, sold his five-year-old niece for N500,000.

According to Nwaomucha, a number of children had been going missing in the community over time but on September 24, his niece, Glory Oyibo, was snatched right from the family compound in Ndemili, throwing the family into a panic over what might have happened to the little girl.

A school head teacher who defiled his 13-year-old pupil over incomplete homework has been sentenced to 25 years imprisonment.

Alex Otieno, also the proprietor of Starlet Academy in Nakuru, was convicted of the offence by a Nakuru court on Thursday, November 24th.

The 36-year-old father of three was charged that he committed the offence between April 30, 2013 and July 19, 2013 at Dundori in Nakuru County.

Housewife stabs female neighbour for exposing her adulterous Lifestyle

A 30yrs old housewife, Adedoyin Adeniyi, has been stabbed in the face by her female neighbour, Zainab Fatai, for allegedly exposing her adulterous acts.

Muslim Alfa kills landlord for criticizing him over drinking, engaging in rituals (Photos)

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested an Islamic cleric, Alfa Ganiyu Umaru, for allegedly killing his 45-year-old landlord, Tajudeen Popoola.
The duo had been at loggerheads for some time over Umaru’s alleged immoral behaviour.

According to the Punch, Popoola had constantly criticized the cleric for drinking and performing rituals on the ground that such acts contravened Islamic doctrines.

In life people will definitly criticise every single thing that you do , so because i am aware of these i dont shake .....
I got the above mail from a lovely cyntomaniac ( hahah) questioning me on why i will post a story about a pastor and asking if i was without conscience,bringing in religious sentiment , which i would say is not a bad idea as i consider that to be the senders opinion.
firstly , my dear i do not have a problem with any pastor as i respect any one that carries the oil .
secondly , i publish stories on diferent issues that are lucrative and profitable to my line of duty , besides the story that was complained about was profitable (hahahahah) so i have no regret .
lastly i would love to say that if crimes are committed in the society its my duty to write and publish not minding who is involed ... if pastors who are meant to be role models , examples and pillers to thier followers do not live upto expectation then i have no choice than to keep writing ... it hurt to know that some pastors have insulted the name thereby turning it to a subject of ridicle .
its important that you dont step into a shoe that is too big for your legs .........

Woman sets her Nigerian husband, brother-in-law ablaze in Ghana

Comfort Agboloshie, 38, has set her husband and her brother-in-law on fire in Accra. Police say she set fire to items of clothing soaked in kerosene, threw them into a room where her husband, Lawrence Nkem, 45 and her brother-in-law, Benjamin Oyem, 42, were sleeping and locked the door.

Nkem survived and is being treated for severe injuries at the hospital, but Oyem died. The incident occurred on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Agboloshie, who before carrying out the act, took her three children out of the room, has been arrested.

Prostitutes set their camp ablaze while fighting over a loyal customer

Two prostitutes fighting over the ownership of a customer’s private part at the Liberia camp in Buduburam, Ghana, reportedly set the camp ablaze during a heated fight. The incident which occurred on Monday, about 4am, saw one of the prostitutes leaving her cigarette on her bed which ignited the fire while she was fighting with another over who will spend the night with a loyal customer.

Narrating the ugly scene to Adom News, a witness said:

‘At dawn, I saw two prostitutes fighting over a customer. Each of them was claiming ownership of his manhood. During the fight, one of them left the cigarette on a bed sheet that ignited the fire.’

The eyewitness said that after several residents attempted to put out the fire and failed, the fire service team were called and they brought it under control.

Meanwhile, the two prostitutes involved in the fight are presently on the run...

The prankster filmed the moment he woke his girlfriend up in bed - by throwing two snakes on top of her. Deso is seen holding a cardboard box and tipping two pythons out on to his snoozing girlfriend.
They begin slither over her legs and when she woke up, the young lady understandably freaked out!

Kanye West Hospitalized Due to Mental ILLNESS

Rapper Kanye West is reportedly under psychiatric evaluation at UCLA Medical Center following a string of odd behavior and mid-concert rants recently. According to TMZ, West was being examined for severe sleep deprivation before paramedics were called around 4:20 p.m. Monday afternoon.

TMZ sources say West was hospitalized "for his own health and safety."

N27m cash was ‘found in Justice Ngwuta’s bathroom’ – FG lawyer

Counsel to the Federal Government, Charles Adeogun Philips, on Monday told an Abuja Federal High Court that N27m in cash was found at the residence of a Supreme Court Justice, Sylvester Ngwuta, but it “completely disappeared.”

According to Philip, the large sum was allegedly found in Ngwuta’s bathroom but the judge later ordered that the money be removed.

Philips made the claim while arguing against the bail application by Ngwuta’s lawyer, Kanu Agabi, SAN.

Alleging that the apex court judge gave the order for the money to be removed on October 9, the Federal Government’s lawyer informed the court that Ngwuta attempted to conceal evidence.

My Husband Married Me Out Of Deciet" -- Divorce Seeking Woman Tells Court

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that Lydia testified in a divorce suit she filed.
“He never told me that he had an existing marriage with six children. “It was after I got married to him that I discovered the whole truth about him; whenever I told him to let me go, he threatened my life,” Lydia submitted.
She told the court that Yakubu beat her with a standing fan for seeking divorce.
“He even destroyed some valuables in the house; I was rescued by our neighbours who heard me shouting and crying out for help.“I later sought medical attention in a nearby pharmacy, and reported the incident to the police who then invited him,” she said.
